Grænser
Hver IP-adresse kan sende omkring 10 forespørgsler i sekundet med korte spidser. Derover svarer API’et med 429 og en Retry-After-header. Resultater, der aldrig ændrer sig, caches i et døgn, så gentagne kald er øjeblikkelige.

Skal jeg bruge en API-nøgle?
Nej. API’et er gratis og åbent. Kald bare endpoints over HTTPS fra din server, et script eller browseren.
Hvilke farveformater accepterer det?
Alle CSS-farver: HEX, rgb(), hsl(), hwb(), lab(), lch(), oklab(), oklch() og color(display-p3 …), plus CSS-navne som navy, almindelige navne som royal blue og Tailwind-klasser som sky-500.
Hvordan rapporteres fejl?
Fejl sendes som application/problem+json med en titel og en detalje, der fortæller, hvad der skal rettes, for eksempel når en streng ikke kan læses som en farve.
