Límites
Cada dirección IP puede enviar unas 10 peticiones por segundo, con ráfagas cortas. Por encima de eso, la API responde 429 con una cabecera Retry-After. Los resultados que nunca cambian se guardan en caché un día, así que las llamadas repetidas son instantáneas.
Preguntas y respuestas
¿Necesito una clave de API?
No. La API es gratuita y abierta. Llama a los endpoints por HTTPS desde tu servidor, un script o el navegador.
¿Qué formatos de color acepta?
Cualquier color CSS: HEX, rgb(), hsl(), hwb(), lab(), lch(), oklab(), oklch() y color(display-p3 …), además de nombres CSS como navy, nombres comunes como royal blue y clases de Tailwind como sky-500.
¿Cómo se informan los errores?
Los errores usan application/problem+json con un title y un detail que explica qué corregir, por ejemplo cuando una cadena no se puede leer como color.
