Limites
Cada endereço IP pode enviar cerca de 10 requisições por segundo, com picos curtos. Acima disso, a API responde 429 com o cabeçalho Retry-After. Resultados que nunca mudam ficam em cache por um dia, então chamadas repetidas são instantâneas.

Preciso de uma chave de API?
Não. A API é gratuita e aberta. Basta chamar os endpoints por HTTPS a partir do seu servidor, de um script ou do navegador.
Quais formatos de cor ela aceita?
Qualquer cor CSS: HEX, rgb(), hsl(), hwb(), lab(), lch(), oklab(), oklch() e color(display-p3 …), além de nomes CSS como navy, nomes comuns como royal blue e classes do Tailwind como sky-500.
Como os erros são informados?
Os erros usam application/problem+json com um title e um detail que dizem o que corrigir, por exemplo quando uma string não pode ser lida como cor.
